The start went well in 4-6 knots wind north towards the first rounding mark.

After 3 out of 4 NM against the first mark, the wind subsided back and forth and mixed around the placements heavily in the fleet. In weak winds with wattles towards the next mark we climbed properly when we found good swaths to sail in the weak wind. After that, the track went north in 10 NM and now in slowing wind. Sometimes completely shiny.

The competition committee decided to shorten the course because of the crackling wind. The course was shortened to 25 NM instead of the 60 NM with a finish at Kiel Lighthouse. The banleg returned to the finish, the wind came again driven by a rainstorm with winds up to 24 Knots wind. We finished as a second boat after Sugar 2 and finished 13th in the estimated time.
