After today's distance race on the sea with a 2nd place, it is clear that Pro4u has qualified for continued sailing in the Gold Fleet at this year's ORC World Championships.

The start went further out today than usual to fit a start to land. The estimated course length was 56 NM. At 19 o'clock, the competition management decided to shorten the course to 36 NM in the waning evening breeze.

Good executed start with good maneuvers and positioning which secured free wind from the beginning. On the crosses to land, monitoring shifts was good and we finished the crosses with a free path towards the layline to the mark. After rounding the cross mark, it carried out of 10 NM into the sea during a light spinnaker gait.

The 10 NM long county started with a laber breeze that gradually increased to 12 knots as we approached the rounding mark. There were again many wind shifts, large and small, that we sweroffed on and floated quickly through the field of boats from the previous starts. Pro4u had a simple and clear strategy for each track leg and many small tactical decisions on our way to the next brand to secure even a good position even in this race.  The other two legbones, one cross and a county, continued the wind to vary to direction and strength, which gave us both difficulties and opportunities for a new good placement.
