Today the opening cermony for the offshore worlds in the Hague was held. More than 800 sailors from 15 countries participate in the worlds. The class C we compete in are the largest with 49 boats.
Today there was a practice race that we unfortunately was disqualified in after a black flag start. But overall the boat speed felt ok and overall we came out with a good feeling after today and we believe we have prepared as good as possible.
Tomorrow the competition starts for real with a 136 nm offshore race (that will be counted as two races) that looks to take around 25-30 hours depending on the wind.
