Win in KSSS Indian Heat Regatta today!

Today, KSSS Indian Heat Regatta ended with two sailings in propaganda weather for sailing with sun and medium wind and generally very nice conditions at Baggensfjärden.

We managed to keep our lead from yesterday and took a victory throughout the regatta. Our series in the total six track races was: 1, 1, 1, 2, (4), 1 that gave a total of 6 points after a sailing was counted out. We have sailed stable and well even if the conditions were difficult with a lot of twist and villages. Maneuver-wise, the weekend has been a good thing.

Unfortunately, we were involved in an unfortunate incident before the start of the last race when we were hit by a boat that came from port and we were then printed up against other boats in the promise and a total of six boats became involved in the incident. Fortunately, no injuries but some plastic jobs etc. it will be.

We think it was fun that as many as 22 boats came to the start and some over 200 sailors competed over the weekend. We also thank KSSS for a very good and nice arrangement with breakfast and after sail etc as well as good and fair courses with good information for us sailors during the competition!

Second on the regatta came Mats Victorin in an X-332 Sport on 15 points and third came Jonas Anderssson in a Farr 40 OD on 25 points.

We look forward to coming back to this nice regatta next year! This was now the last race of the season with "Malin" but some on the team continue with some J70 sailing for a while more.
