Start procedure

The first thing that the Pro4u does when we get out to the starting area is to check in at the launch ship so that the organizers know which boats have come out to take off. Before starting, Pro4u conducts a start procedure where the location of the start marks is measured with GPS, which is used in tactics and navigation software at the start and benchmarks on land to visually ensure that we do not poach and wind direction are determined to select the correct position on the line at startup.

The launcher appears on the white sign the direction of the first mark and on course sailings shows which path to sail on the blackboard. The flags on the left are the flags used to show which class to start and time to start.
