Team Pro4u has made a season finale of yet another successful season in 2018 with amateur World Cup gold from the World Cup in Holland, victories in the Sandhamn Open and Indian Heat Regatta and a number of podiums and the award "Sea Catch Sailor of the Year".
Team Pro4u has had another good season in 2018, and on the other hand we have had really fun and been able to develop and improve in several areas and partly the results have been good and we have achieved our goals. Team Pro4u – Summary of the 2018 season
It has been another fun season where we have been able to visit and sail in many fun "sailing metropolises" such as Sandhamn, Marstrand, Kiel and The Hague. It's also great fun that we also managed to keep our suite for the seventh year in a row since 2012 to take gold in the amateur class and be on the podium in the open class at the World Championships/European Championships in sea race. Since finally receiving the award Sea Catcher of the Year, we are also proud, grateful and happy for," says Anders Mårtensson trim.
We are now continuing our drive towards new targets according to the "Project" objectives where continuous improvement is an important watchword. In 2019, our main target IS ORC European Championships in Oxelösund in August. We also plan to compete in Viggan Open, Lidingö Runt, Gullviverallyt, Sandhamn Open, ÅF Inshore Race, ÅF Offshore Race, ORC SM and Indian Heat Regatta.
We are confidently looking forward to another exciting season but it is important to never stand still and constantly work with improvements as competition at the championships increases all the time, we believe a lot in the new keel and some other things we improve on the boat this winter! Another thing that is important to us is to increase interest in sea racing among younger people and therefore we have together with KSSS developed "KSSS Offshore Clinic" where during the winter/spring/summer we will have theory and practice sessions in sea racing – take the opportunity and search no later than January 31, 2019 via ksss website (for KSSS members 16-30 years), says Patrik Forsgren skipper & owner.
