Today we sailed the Viggan Open and 4 races were planned. Unfortunately, the wind was absent most of the day and we had to lie waiting for wind. Finally until the afternoon there was some wind and we were able to sail two races.

We finished 2nd overall after finishing second in race one and 3rd in race two (the same overall score as the winner). Congratulations to the winner, Expressen Dream with Benny Öhman as skipper.

For our part, the summary is that we need to train lots further and to replace 5 people /roles out of 8 is not done in a jitter. Some things are going better but we need to improve everything! Luckily then that next weekend we will train all weekend in the North Sails Clinic.

We thank the organizers who were unlucky with the wind but given the circumstances did a very good job with the arrangement and the courses! We hope there will be competition next year again.
